About

I used to read in a vicious cycle, hammering through Scandinavian thrillers or that popular book from the airport, two or three at a time, before pausing to find some television show for rest. Three years ago, I moved to a new city and walked into my local library curiously. This one looks good, what if I tried Romance? Aren’t the covers a neat pastel? And now we find me, on the couch next to my chihuahua, agonizing over Toronto sports and placing my nose closer to the spine during intermission periods.

Books are my break time and my happy place and the anti-social network. I read primarily Romance, but I love a good Fantasy (recommendations, please) and I need a carefully crafted Sci-Fi. I crave books that speak to different cultures and experiences, so I’m moving slightly away from the pastel crayons and into the bold lips of a new writer who may be less serialized. Either way and all the ways, I want to think about stories and craft. This is a blog to keep track of my mind, and soon I hope to share my own stories.
